Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Serviqo+ ("Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Platform. Serviqo+ is a marketplace connecting customers with independent service providers for delivery and contracting services.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Serviqo+
• Contractors must pass background checks and provide valid identification
• You must have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Contractors must have necessary licenses/permits for their service category (where required)

3. Account Registration

To use Serviqo+, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

5. Payment Terms

• Customers must authorize payment before job commencement (held in escrow)
• Platform fee: 12% service fee added to contractor's price
• Contractors receive payment after job completion and customer confirmation
• Disputes are resolved per our Dispute Resolution policy
• All payments processed securely via Stripe
• Refunds subject to our cancellation and dispute policies

6. Independent Contractors

All service providers on Serviqo+ are independent contractors, not employees. Serviqo+ does not control, direct, or guarantee contractor performance. Contractors are solely responsible for:

• Their work quality, licensing, and insurance
• Paying their own taxes and complying with laws
• Setting their own schedules and rates
• Any damages or injuries occurring during service delivery

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Circumvent our payment system (off-platform transactions)
• Harass, discriminate, or harm other users
• Post false, misleading, or deceptive information
• Interfere with Platform security or functionality
• Use another user's account without authorization

8. Cancellations and Refunds

• Customers may cancel before contractor arrival for full refund
• Cancellations after service begins subject to contractor's policy
• No-show contractors receive no payment and may face account suspension
• Disputes must be filed within 24 hours of job completion

9. Ratings and Reviews

We encourage honest ratings and reviews. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our content policies, are fraudulent, or contain inappropriate content.

10. Disclaimers

SERVIQO+ IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE DO NOT ENDORSE OR GUARANTEE THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR PERFORMANCE OF CONTRACTOR SERVICES.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SERVIQO+'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE LAST THREE MONTHS. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR SERVICES.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Serviqo+ harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these Terms, engaging in prohibited conduct, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may close your account at any time via your profile settings.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Augusta, Georgia.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or through prominent notices on our Platform. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
